Born and raised in New Jersey, I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. I then lived in Virginia, where I sustained a serious and painful injury. While recovering, Massage Therapy provided astoundingly positive results and my life was forever changed.
In 1984 I completed the requirements to become a licensed Massage Therapist. For 15 years I worked closely with a perinatalogist in Virginia treating individuals with high-risk pregnancies. Additionally, teaming with other health care professionals continues to inform and expand my abilities.
In 2007 I relocated to Monterey County. Following a year and a half on staff at the Esalen Institute, I opened my therapeutic massage practice in downtown Monterey. In addition to maintaining a private practice throughout my career I am proud to have worked as a massage provider in several of the world's most esteemed spas -- The Spa at Pebble Beach Resort and at the Sonoma Mission Inn.
